TOP TEN WORST SMASH BROS.

Plenty of people have played Super Smash Bros. at this point right? I don't think it's hard to imagine why I love it so much, or why anyone does for that matter, it's the perfect party game. Since I am a huge fan, I've decided to compile a top ten character list, but I'm not talking about the best, I'm talking about the worst "Smash" has to offer. I'd like to point out that obviously this is my opinion, so don't get whiny if you disagree, especially considering that these aren't ranked by which fighters lose the most, rather it is ranked by which ones are lackluster to me as characters in the roster, because the best thing about "Smash" is the insane roster. Here are my picks for the TOP TEN WORST SMASH BROS. I hope you enjoy.

SUPERHEROES ON FILM-THE BEGINNING

Superheroes are currently the most popular heroes to watch in the cinema, whether you're a man of steel, an incredible green giant, or a talking raccoon, there's no denying superheroes are all over the place, but it wasn't always like that. Prior to the 2000's, superheroes were not the most popular figures in film, sure there were the classics, but years would go by without a superhero on the big screen; even if there was one, there was no guarantee that it would be a respectable movie. I feel it's appropriate that we actually examined how we got to where we're at, after all, if the theaters are gonna continue hyping these movies, we owe it to the heroes to know the road it took for them to get here.

A COURAGE FAN THEORY

There's a lot of strange things that happen in the middle of Nowhere, a lot, most of which require Courage to save his two owners from. In one end, we have Eustace, a cruel farmer who takes pleasure from practically abusing Courage, on the other side we have Muriel, a kind elderly lady who often takes care of Courage, but what if what we see wasn't the whole truth? After all what kind of people attract the kinds of creatures that we see here? Maybe, just maybe, Courage true enemy is his owners, after all, Courage is the one who is most horrified by all these things, Muriel and Eustace might just be in "danger" because they enjoy seeing Courage in peril.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2-REVIEW

IS BILL THE DEVIL? A FAN THEORY

Hi there, I'd like to take this time to announce my plans for October, since it is a rather spooky month I want to make more posts for that sort of stuff. The kinds of posts I'll be doing are original stories and theories on shows that are spooky in there own way. Consider today's post a tease to that kind of thing, it's a theory of my own, at least I thought of it, but I'm sure others may have reached a similar conclusion. Is Bill Cipher the Devil in Gravity Falls?

5 WORLDS KINGDOM HEARTS 3 NEEDS

I enjoy the Kingdom Hearts franchise, sure the story has gotten insanely stupid, but the gameplay is just too much fun. I've thought about what worlds I'd like to see in the upcoming installment, even if  most of these won't get in due to how odd they may be, I think they'd be fun to witness. Before I begin my list I'd like to say that this is my list, if you disagree that's fine, but please don't insult me for my opinions, just comment what you think is more deserving for the game, while respecting my opinion, that being said, here... we... go.

Pokemon GO Trailer Makes Me Wish I Was A Kid Again

Not much I can say for this, it's just beautiful, cool and the kind of thing I would've loved when I first saw the show.
On another note, you might have noticed I haven't written much as of late, sadly life is busy at the moment, that and I'm currently starting work on a short film, so expect less stuff. If you are a fan of my writing, thank you, I hope you continue reading and have shared my posts, a growing audience can be of great support for future writings, in any case thank you for your support.

THAT ONE SCENE-CAPES

Okay lets be honest, who hasn't been thinking about this movie recently? With the popularity of superhero movies, a poorly made Fantastic Four movie out now, and of course the first poster for the upcoming sequel, The Incredibles are popular once more. I've been wanting to do a post on these guys for a while now, and the timing just couldn't be better. If the title didn't give it away, yes I'll be discussing the famous cape sequence of the film

PIXAR SEQUELS? A SHORT RANT

Pixar used to be the guys who made the most original stuff around, now... Well now they've got four sequels in between original films. I don't think I'm alone in saying, what is going on? Did we suddenly stop going to the original Pixar films that made this a necessary venture? After the newly announced Coco will we see Up 2 followed by Toy Story 5? It's getting a little scary Pixar, seriously. I honestly hope these films are great, but we seriously need to slow down the sequel train, or at least put out more features like Dreamworks Animation to balance out the ratio before it's too late.

SILLY FAN THEORIES

Every now and then I get bored, in those times I'll think about a lot of things, read a lot of things and think some more. One of my favorite things to read about are fan theories, even if they're bad, or clearly wrong I can still get a huge kick out of them sometimes. Today because I've got some extra time I'd like to present a few crazy theories of my own, I'm not sure if any of these have been made before, but I hope not as I don't want to seem like a copycat. I must admit none of these theories are incredibly well thought out, but I hope you enjoy them, I've thought about them for a while so please sit back, relax and enjoy.

THAT ONE SCENE-MARRIED LIFE

The picture and title alone should make it very clear what today's scene is right? I mean, most people have seen this film by this point, and even if you haven't you know what scene people went nuts about. I personally find myself liking Up, but it's really a mid-tier Pixar film for me, yeah the scene I'm talking about is one of the studio's finest work, but everything else feels pretty standard, good stuff to be sure, but aside from THE scene everyone goes nuts over, this is average Pixar, which is still great compared to most honestly. I want to say one thing before I present the scene, it's very emotional, if this is your first time witnessing it you will most likely cry, I know you might tell me that you're tough, but trust me you aren't prepared, even if you're strong enough to fight the tears you will lose in the end. In any case, here's my (likely yours as well) favorite scene from Disney/Pixar's Up, Married Life.

THAT ONE SCENE=TIMES ARE A CHANGIN'

Today's scene comes from a movie I'm fairly mixed towards, on the one hand the visuals and character of Rorschach are amazing, but on the other the story is kind of a mess on screen and most of the actors are decent but not anything special in their roles. I'm talking of course about Watchmen, the film adaptation of the great comic of the same name released in 2009. I don't hate this movie, but so much of it just doesn't live up to the comic, still as far as Alan Moore adaptations go I guess this might be the best of the bunch, which must suck for the man. I love a good visual with a good soundtrack, the two can perfectly create something of beauty, which you'll find in today's scene, the scene being that of the opening credits for this film, enjoy.

THE TRAGIC LEGACY OF SHREK

The legacy we leave behind is among the most important things we can do with our lives, good or bad, future generations will remember us by our actions and memories. Legacy for a piece of entertainment however, is in the hands of the audience, what a movie, show, novel, etcetera is remembered for depends on people to voice their opinions and thoughts, telling us the greatness or horridness of the work; whether it's a landmark film, an average film, or a joke for people to insult or laugh at, we as an audience give a film its legacy for future generations. Our legacy has become a bit harder to control, largely due to the internet, any mistake we make can be taken to an extreme. "Trolls" or as they should be called, ass-holes,  can pick apart anyone, even someone who really didn't do anything wrong; imagine how much easier it is to ruin a piece of entertainment in that regard, something that should be remembered as something major, can become the punchline of a stupid meme, much like Shrek.

THE FIRST MAJOR MARVEL MOVIE

Do you know what the first theatrical Marvel film is? I don't really count the Captain America serials if that's your answer, sure they were theatrical but they're not really movies, at least not in the usual sense of the word. Marvel has had numerous films over the years, many of which introduce fairly obscure characters to mainstream audiences, their first is quite possibly the most obscure/unconventional hero they could've chosen for a film debut. There's no way around this simple fact, in the beginning there was...

INSIDE OUT-SPOILERS, DIFFERENCES, PLUS LAVA REVIEW

So I finally got to see Inside Out again, if you recall I saw a test screening version well now it's out so here's what's changed. Oh, and SPOILERS!

DID PIXAR LOSE THEIR TOUCH?

Anyone who's already seen Inside Out already knows the answer is a definite NO. A few years ago Pixar released a sequel to Cars, Cars 2 was viewed as the film that ruined Pixar's streak, resulting in a slew of articles claiming the studio had lost it, as if they wouldn't produce another good film for years. The conversation was repeated after their following films failed to wow critics, which led to many hoping that their most recent film would bring the studio's quality back, it seems the expectations have been met, but I still would argue that the studio never really lost it, it just didn't produce the masterpieces it had been able to do for four films straight (Ratatouille to Toy Story 3) which led to disappointment from fans.

AN HD REMAKE WAS THE MOST EXCITING THING AT E3?

Okay let me get this out of the way, I honestly don't care about this game, like at all, I'm not a Final Fantasy fan, nor do I really think a remake will live up to expectations, that being said, if you want this, buy it. I'm not stopping anyone from enjoying it, nor do I think this game will bomb, in fact sales will be at high (which isn't saying much when you realize this generation really hasn't made great sales) but the truth is, the fact that this seems to be the game that wowed most people more then anything else this E3 says a lot, unfortunately very little of it is good.

IS SUPERHERO FATIGUE REAL?

Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Movie Man, a bunch of guys with "man" in their names,  haven't we gotten tired of it? I ask because it seems like many film critics, actors, or even filmmakers seem to be assuming it's coming, the collapse of the superhero movie, yet people still go to watch superhero films, superhero films aren't even as common as other genre films, and on top of all that, they disregard the good that's come out, in favor of whining that "great" films can't succeed/get made because studios don't demand that, despite being great HAS never guaranteed success/being green-lit. The question or assumption that superhero fatigue is approaching shouldn't be on these peoples minds, what should be on their minds is asking why superheroes continue being popular.

MINIONS TRAILER

Funny is just funny sometimes, while this doesn't look especially deep or anything, the jokes are hitting hard enough to overlook that. What I'm appreciating most from this trailer is that it finally seems to be showing the film's plot, showcasing how much of a different, but similar product this will be from the previous films in the franchise, yes it's funny, but it's not just Despicable Me with a female master in the 60's. Minions hits theaters this Summer.

THE MUPPETS TELEVISION SHOW TRAILER

Just like that, the Muppets remain popular enough to return to television, but unlike previous shows, this will be more mockumentary based. This outing seems to also suggest Ms. Piggy will have an off-again, on-again relationship with Kermit and the show, possibly to poke fun at how self centered some reality stars can be on their shows, it's all very funny stuff that spoofs the nature of these things. My particular favorite joke here comes at the expense of Gonzo, describing exactly why he hates the talking head technique, despite how obvious it is, it's a very spot on commentary. It's time to light the lights on TV once more, The Muppets are back on this fall on ABC.

5 SUPERHERO MOVIES THAT SHOULD BE MADE

Superhero movies are bigger than ever these days, with every studio scrambling to make something resembling The Avengers, it's no surprise there are critics aching for the business to collapse, but that's not what I'm here to talk about today, today I talk about what I want. With an abundance of superheroes on screen, it almost feels like we've seen them all already, except we haven't.  Today I talk about the superheroes I'd like to see a movie for that have yet to get any announcements, my top five superhero movies that should be made list.

REMEMBER STAR-LORD'S MOM

If you read my reviews on the MCU films, you might remember that my favorite film of the bunch was Guardians Of The Galaxy, an epic space opera set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was a success, a huge one, so huge it got a sequel lined up immediately for a 2017 release, so here's where I get to talk about my list of wants for the sequel... well not really. While I certainly have my desires for the sequel, I just don't care to dedicate an entire post on a checklist of demands, instead I want to focus on one area alone, Peter Quill's mother, Meredith Quill.

VACATION TRAILER

So, am I the only one surprised that this looks funny? I feel like the answer is no, but I've been wrong before, regardless this looks really funny, and a good way to do a sequel/reboot of the series. To be honest, I almost forgot this was happening, I remember hearing they were making a reboot focusing on Rusty, but I hadn't even known they were going through with it until recently. I like the opening meta joke about how "this vacation will stand on its own" it's a bit too on the nose, but I think it works fine; in that seem setting, Rusty is questioned about "redoing" his thirty year old vacation, which to me comes off as both a meta comment, as well as possibly how the film plans to connect with audiences, nostalgia seems bigger then ever these days, many of us can't let go of our pasts, so we try recreating our childhoods, or hope others manage to, resulting in "reboots" of our childhood entertainment, this being a prime example of that...

AVENGERS:AGE OF ULTRON-REVIEW

Synopsis-The Avengers are back, this time out, Tony wants to create a system known as Ultron, which would effectively end the need for them, but that backfires when Ultron becomes interested in keeping the world peaceful by "evolving" it.
