I'm really not trying to make a case about Marvel Studios being the only ones who can do good superhero movies, honest, but Fantastic Four really isn't selling me. I'll admit this is the best trailer released for the film, making it look more competent, but it still looks so ashamed to be a superhero movie. I admire directors wanting to do their own takes of known characters, but why must they be afraid to embrace the superhero feeling? Is it too silly, or do they just think it's too silly? I don't know at this point I just hope this bombs enough to let Marvel make the version we've waited for.
