TOP TEN GAMES I WANT AS ANIMATED FILMS

Videogame movie, something that just can't seem to catch a break, truth be told some could be great if given the right story, I've compiled a list of some games I'd love to see as films; while some of these could work as live-action films, I'd rather see them take an animated form. This isn't my definitive list, but just the ones that came to mind, I may revisit this list when I think of more, that being said, HERE WE GO!!!

MINIONS TRAILER

Funny is just funny sometimes, while this doesn't look especially deep or anything, the jokes are hitting hard enough to overlook that. What I'm appreciating most from this trailer is that it finally seems to be showing the film's plot, showcasing how much of a different, but similar product this will be from the previous films in the franchise, yes it's funny, but it's not just Despicable Me with a female master in the 60's. Minions hits theaters this Summer.

THE MUPPETS TELEVISION SHOW TRAILER

Just like that, the Muppets remain popular enough to return to television, but unlike previous shows, this will be more mockumentary based. This outing seems to also suggest Ms. Piggy will have an off-again, on-again relationship with Kermit and the show, possibly to poke fun at how self centered some reality stars can be on their shows, it's all very funny stuff that spoofs the nature of these things. My particular favorite joke here comes at the expense of Gonzo, describing exactly why he hates the talking head technique, despite how obvious it is, it's a very spot on commentary. It's time to light the lights on TV once more, The Muppets are back on this fall on ABC.

5 SUPERHERO MOVIES THAT SHOULD BE MADE

Superhero movies are bigger than ever these days, with every studio scrambling to make something resembling The Avengers, it's no surprise there are critics aching for the business to collapse, but that's not what I'm here to talk about today, today I talk about what I want. With an abundance of superheroes on screen, it almost feels like we've seen them all already, except we haven't.  Today I talk about the superheroes I'd like to see a movie for that have yet to get any announcements, my top five superhero movies that should be made list.

REMEMBER STAR-LORD'S MOM

If you read my reviews on the MCU films, you might remember that my favorite film of the bunch was Guardians Of The Galaxy, an epic space opera set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was a success, a huge one, so huge it got a sequel lined up immediately for a 2017 release, so here's where I get to talk about my list of wants for the sequel... well not really. While I certainly have my desires for the sequel, I just don't care to dedicate an entire post on a checklist of demands, instead I want to focus on one area alone, Peter Quill's mother, Meredith Quill.

VACATION TRAILER

So, am I the only one surprised that this looks funny? I feel like the answer is no, but I've been wrong before, regardless this looks really funny, and a good way to do a sequel/reboot of the series. To be honest, I almost forgot this was happening, I remember hearing they were making a reboot focusing on Rusty, but I hadn't even known they were going through with it until recently. I like the opening meta joke about how "this vacation will stand on its own" it's a bit too on the nose, but I think it works fine; in that seem setting, Rusty is questioned about "redoing" his thirty year old vacation, which to me comes off as both a meta comment, as well as possibly how the film plans to connect with audiences, nostalgia seems bigger then ever these days, many of us can't let go of our pasts, so we try recreating our childhoods, or hope others manage to, resulting in "reboots" of our childhood entertainment, this being a prime example of that...

Join the Vacation on July 31st, 2015.

AVENGERS:AGE OF ULTRON-REVIEW

Synopsis-The Avengers are back, this time out, Tony wants to create a system known as Ultron, which would effectively end the need for them, but that backfires when Ultron becomes interested in keeping the world peaceful by "evolving" it.
